Outside the Villa

The villa sits on a plot of over 1,000 sq.m. The plot is triangular, with the "apex" being the back garden and the "base" along the road. The road is a quiet "cul-de-sac" which only leads to about 10 individually designed villas.

The Villa has a private pool, 3 terraces, 3 balconies and a large garden, with paths meandering past our 3 old olive trees and volcanic rocks.

The terraces are on the far side of the villa, next to the kitchen and in the back garden. The balconies lead off each bedroom, and also from the gallery picture window.

Dining and balcony furniture is provided for those who like to relax, eat and drink outside. Sun loungers and sun parasol are provided for those seeking sun and shade.

The back and side gardens retain a "natural" landscape. There are lots of volcanic rocks, with local spreading plants / wildflowers / herbs and, of course, our 3 olive trees for shade. The garden is divided from the adjacent lands by stone walls.

The views to Souda Bay (7km) from the villa are simply stunning, as is the panorama of the Lefka Ori mountains behind. If you visit in early Spring - you wake up every morning and see snow covered mountains.

Vamos centre is a 5 minute walk. Beaches only 10-15 min drive.

The Pool

The pool is at the front of the villa (but privacy is retained for those itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny bikini clad moments!)

The design is "kidney-shaped" (approx 24 sq.m) with 2.5m Roman steps. The setting takes maximum advantage of both the sunshine and the views. The wall has been built to just the right height to keep the view of Souda Bay.
